THE PRODUCTION PROCESS 

1- Design Consultation

First we will begin with a design consultation where we gonna take your measurements And you‘ll share your ideas and peferences of you custom garment to Vireil. I‘ll show you fabric swatches, embellishments and well talk about possibilities. After your consultation, I‘ll send you three sketches & specifics (including quote for each designs) You‘ll choose your favorite, we‘ll make adjustements if necessary and let the magic begin.

2- Patternmaking phase

The designer will start making the pattern making or the draping of your custom creation. Each garment is made in a similar fabric of your final fabric to your measurements, and we‘ll make adjustements to this prototype until the fit and design are perfect.  

3- Sewing Phase

After you give us the approval, your garment will then be sewn in the real luxury fabric your choose in the design phase. 

4- Embellishment phase

Sequins detail or bead embellishments will be added to your gown. 

5- Ready for pick up

When your garment is complete and ready to leave our atelier, it will be wedding or event Day ready! NO ALTERATIONS needed.

 FAQ

Can you remake the exact garment?
 Please keep in mind that we dont make exact replicas of any type of garments.

For example : We can make a custom gown that are inspired to a design, but we will not make anything Exact to an original. 

 Can I change my mind about the design?

 Please note that after you approval at the design consultation, no changes can be made to the silhouette. If you decide to change anything not related to the fit of your garment, a new design fee will be applied on your bill. You can not change you mind while your garment being made, changes can be made before the patternmaking production. 

How many fittings will I need for my custom garment? 

Fittings will vary on the design and type of garment. It can take multiple fittings along the way to get a comfortable fit. 

  • Custom apparel only need 1 fitting session
  • Basic gowns only need 1 fitting session
  • Complex prom dresses and Bridesmaids gowns  only need 2 fittings sessions
  • Wedding gown are very complex (bustier, petticoak, Embellishments ect..) can take up to 4 fittings sessions 
Is there a deposit required, can I split up the payments ?

 A sign contract and a 50 % deposit is required to begin work on your project. The remain is due before the garment Leave our atelier, and can be made in multiple payments during the construction process if necessary. 

 What is a typical cost of an Vireil Mesidor custom garment?

 The prices depend how simple or how elaborate your garment is. Also the type of Fabrics and material used.We can quote you the exact price after your consultation.

 Apparel start as low as 120$

Midi Dresses starting at 250$ & up

Simple Floor length gowns 300$ & up

Prom dresses 450$ & up 

Bridal reception dresses 1500$ & up

Wedding gowns 2500$ & up

 Please note all custom services have a consultation and research fee 

This fee does not go toward the dress.

OUT OF STATE CUSTOMERS

 Because we are not able to meet our out of state clients in person, we recommend you to take Your measurements at your local seamstress-alterations store.

  • Alterations May be required, but we will make sure that your garments fits you like a glove
  • And will do the fittings on a model similar to your body shape.
  •  Vireil atelier does not alter gowns for out of state clients. 
  • It is the Customers responsability to get their alterations done locally by a professional seamstress 
  • Vireil Atelier is not responsible for any cost or fees that associalted to alter your gown.
